About Jim Veser at Colebrook Counseling
When a client contacts my therapy practice they talk directly to me. It is a practice committed to personal and professional care. I graduated cum laude with a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Evangelical Theological Seminary. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice located at 2143 Colebrook Road in southern Lebanon County. I also have worked with clients at Oasis Counseling in Lancaster, a practice that specializes in sexual addiction and sexual trauma. I have volunteered at Philhaven Hospital working with couples in a marriage enrichment program.
My specialty is working with relationships. I have been trained to view relationships as part of a system in which there are many contributors. I encourage communication, not just on the surface, but on a core level. I stress exploring what is happening internally in my clients and finding a way to express it to one another in a safe environment. Most importantly, I try to empower my clients with the ability to solve their conflicts on their own. By identifying the root causes of their struggle, clients can walk away with a deeper understanding of how their life experiences and relationships have influenced their ability to cope with the here and now of their lives.
